This year, in English Language Arts, the students will build reading comprehension skills through a variety of activities. They will expand their vocabulary and develop proficiency in grammar in an assortment of written assignments. They will engage in critical thinking and reflection as they read, discuss, and respond to different media.
Evaluation
English Language Arts will be regularly evaluated (online & paper) by a variety of reading and writing assignments, rubrics, tests, oral and listening activities, active participation in class discussions and activities.
Math
This year in Mathematics, the students will work regularly on understanding & solving mathematical concepts. Math literacy will be strengthened as students learn to formulate, represent & solve mathematical problems. They will reflect, explain and justify their procedures using appropriate mathematic language and symbols.
Evaluation
Math will be evaluated (online & paper) on daily work, homework checks, group work, activities, rubrics and tests.
