  • do a reader's theatre presentation or act out a scene from the book
  • find a song that relates to the theme of your book. Explain the similarities.
  • write a news story about something that happened to one of the characters in the book- present it as if it were on tv
  • design the front cover of a newspaper from the people & events in your book

Dear Parents,

There was a pop quiz on division of fractions today to check if the kids were doing/understanding their homework.

Only 5 students got 75% or over. While some students had some difficulties applying the new concept, too many did not do any of the online math homework at all over the past 3 days.

I told the class that their efforts will always shine through. I also told them that if they didn't have time to do it right the first time, they must have time to do it over!  See Progress Report duo tangs tomorrow.

Ms. Koscher
